Viewpoint: Several problems faced by TON ecology

1. Low user quality

The quality of Ton ecology has obvious problems, which is mainly reflected in the following aspects:

  • User structure problem: A large number of users come from Africa, Southeast Asia and Eastern Europe. The net worth of these regions is low and the overall consumption power is limited.

  • User activity issue: Although the number of daily active users is equivalent to WeChat, the actual number of actual users is far lower than WeChat.This is mainly because a large number of users use multiple accounts, resulting in data distortion.

  • Insufficient depth: The user opens the frequency and the use time is only 30%of WeChat, and the lack of sufficient use depth.The main activity scenario of users on TON is also relatively single, and lacks the diversified social relationships and business conversion scenarios like WeChat.

  • Low potential business value: In summary, the overall value of TON may be less than 5%of WeChat.The user has a high volume, the user’s willingness to pay is low, and the commercial transformation is difficult. Even if it is successfully transformed, the input -output ratio is not ideal.

In general, although TON has achieved certain results in the scale of user scale, from the perspective of user quality and commercial value, there are obvious problems in the existing model and need to rethink the way and logic of trying.

2. Single user relationship

The single nature of the relationship between users is another major challenge facing the Ton ecology:

  • Insufficient breadth and depth: Compared with WeChat, the relationship between TON users is mainly concentrated in specific scenarios, lacking breadth and depth.The relationship between WeChat users covers almost all acquaintance networks, and has high interaction depth, such as conferences, games, circle of friends, etc. These interactions form a strong relationship network, which meets most of the social needs of users, and also meets most of the user’s social needs.Successfully monopolized social exchange.

Although TG and WeChat positioning are different, Ton’s single -sexual issue has seriously limited its development potential.Therefore, instead of pursuing a large number of users from TG to TON to TON, it is better to pay attention to how to attract high -quality users, form a more valuable relationship network, and succeed in one or two main scenarios.

3. User relationship is the core value of social products

In social products, the relationship between users and its promotion effect is its core value:

  • The importance of social effects: The interaction between user relationships can produce a tsunami -like effect. This effect is the key to social products different from other types of products.For TON, if you just blindly increase the number of users without paying attention to the quality of the user relationship, you can only get a deformed user structure and cannot support the long -term development of the ecology.

  • Limitation of traffic sales model: The current traffic sales model on TON is not optimistic.If we still use WeChat gameplay, the value of traffic will become weaker and difficult to form an effective business model.

However, the Ton ecosystem is not completely without highlights.The construction of trading scenarios is relatively effective, from demand trigger to relationship formation, and the process is smooth.Especially in the small circle of speculation, from the discovery of asset issuance and trading opportunities to information sharing. Although the user group is not large, its efficient user conversion rate shows certain potential.

Although there are multiple opportunities for attempts in the TON ecosystem, there are obvious problems in the current models and logic.Especially in the process of pursuing the number of users, the complexity of user relationships and usage scenarios has been ignored, resulting in low overall business value.It is recommended that developers should pay more attention to the development of user relations and the development of actual application scenarios when exploring new gameplay, rather than blindly pursuing the number of users.
