ZKSYNC VS Solana single chain and multi -chain ecosystem dispute

A friend asked me, how to see the two founders of @zkSync and @Solana’s future controversy about the future of “single/multi -chain ecology”?Let’s talk about the conclusion:Well, the cake is very fragrant, you are all saying!

1) ZKSYNC’s future Hyperchain multi -chain era is a stack expansion solution for decoupled Ethereum Monolithic chain.It considers Ethereum as a settlement layer, uses ZK technology as the core medium as a communication verification, and then uses Layer3 as the entrance layer of the application flow, and finally forms a Layer1 settlement+layer2 interoperability operating+layer3 application multi -module Stack strategy.

In general, the future of Hyperchain is indeed worth looking forward to. It avoids the performance defects of Layer1’s main chain, but also seized the core of Layer2’s interactive operation of liquidity aggregation communication network. Layer3 application chain imagination space is also infinite.

However, Layer2 is currently in the Infra phase that builds the foundation SEQUENCER+PROVER system, and Layer3 is still in the budding moment.Although the future is beautiful, the distance is still far away.

2) The super application era driven by Solana is a landing plan based on the pure single body chain.In this context, the high concurrency performance of Solana can already support multiple applications and operate at the same time, regardless of communication, interactive operational, GAS consumption, etc., and even surpass the stack stack strategy of Ether.

This is also right. Solana is originally a single chain designed for the future super blockchain. It is close to the synchronization state of “speed of light”, as wellThe initial goal was a future architecture to the blockchain application.

It is just that the overall industry is still in the construction stage of the basic INFRA. The demand for super applications has not landed on a large scale. Solana’s high TPS and high -combined hair performance have not been real.

3) It should be said that the argument between the two bosses of ZKSYNC and Solana is not in the same latitude. Both of them plan a super chain future for application -driven super chain, which is nothing more than realistic paths.ZKSYNC is the modular stack chain of Ethereum, which uses zero -knowledge proof technology to improve transaction speed and reduce costs. Solana is a high -performance monomer blockchain.The throughput and low latency are designed to become an infrastructure that supports large -scale applications.

Both the Stack multi -module and combination of the single closed -loop ecology have a great opportunity.Before the vision was realized, no one was eligible for who.

4) As for the database hotspots of the ZKP existence of ZKP, it does exist, so that a large number of requests for smart contracts will inevitably have congestion or delay in processing. This is a problem that Stack multi -module combination will inevitably face.The consensus layer, execution layer, application layer and other stacks are still available to expand transactions based on interactive operations. The problem of optimization and distribution of database resources still exists.

This seems to be more advantageous in the Solana native chain, and even TOLY will proudly think that TPS is the inevitable result of Solana data optimization and concurrency processing, and there is no need to mention it deliberately.However, ZKSYNC believes that the use of ZKP can improve processing capabilities through asynchronous transaction processing. ZKP technology itself is designed to solve the problem of incompatible transactions in the original chain.

5) In the end, TOLY imply that although the asynchronous processing of ZKP will promote parallel processing, it may lead to weakening the participation of decentralized full nodes, because a large number of high -efficiency processing ZKP must be more efficient in centralized nodes.

However, Alex did not answer this question directly. After speaking, the full node of 1M TPS may require a computer cluster, but ZKSYNC wants to verify it lightweight on the mobile phone.It shows that ZKSYNC is pursuing a decentralized model that can participate in the verification process even if the equipment capacity is limited, although this may face the challenge of processing high throughput (such as 1M TPS).The argument between the two is the same as the “family”, which is a bit interesting.

It seems that Alex often has such a “seemingly reasonable” technical theory with the same “two sides”. Perhaps it is a mutual marketing strategy in the Western developer community. That’s all.Otherwise, what else can the people of eating melon think?
