Meme and the public chain are an interesting pair of symbionts, and there are also very similarities. The most important thing about MEME is traffic and reaching users. Because there is no value, there is no valuation system to be bound by. It only requires exaggerated rise and fall to reach users, and consensus determines the price.
Public chains have never had an accurate valuation system, which is more based on user activity and benchmarking, and finally the initial price setting, such as APT and SUI. The first wave of opening is that everyone’s expectation is not to break the VC issue. Then, after hovering around the cost line for a period of time, it can cooperate with the big market to rise. This logic is that those who have experienced the exaggerated increase in public chains in 21 years will go to Buy in.In this process, ecology is just a subject matter carrying traffic.
From this perspective, public chains and MEME are no different, they are both traffic businesses.
How to make a good public chain?Or how to buy awesome public chains? From this perspective, I think it is to find three types of people:
1. Find the core user group. This group of users is willing to help buy at a low price to protect the market, and will not sell at a high price.
2. Find more users that can reach the rise through exchanges/media/news and other channels.
3. Find Dapp and MEME that can carry new traffic in the second half of the rise. The former is the focus and the latter is the increase.
In the past few months, SOL has achieved 1, 2, and 3 in large sizes, SUI has achieved 1, 2, and 3 in small sizes, FTM has achieved 1 and 2, and APT has achieved 2.
Next, let’s talk about the public chains that have not been posted yet. Initia and Movement are two very interesting examples:
1. The core user base is very fixed. One is the hope of the Move system and the other is the hope of the Cosmos system. It is all about bridging ETH assets + using the shaping ability of ecosystem VMs to optimize user experience. The core user group should be users who have strong belief in Move and Tendermint technology but are disappointed in the original ecosystem.
2. Both teams have good positions in the original ecosystem (Initia’s team is from Terra’s technical background, and Movement’s team is from the core APT ecosystem). When the market rises, they will obtain the original ecosystem through PR.Users with exaggerated memory of the increase can also be disseminated in secondary ways, causing a FOMO effect. Moreover, both teams are invested by Binance Lab + Western major VCs. On the one hand, everyone’s expectation is that these VC coins are more difficult to break the issue price, and on the other hand, no matter whether they are up at the beginning, there is always an expectation of going online to the top exchanges.
3. Both projects are supporting their own ecosystem. Initia has Blackwing (DEFI) and Infinity Ground (AI), and is also related to a group of Cosmos infrastructure. Movement asked Thala’s team to incubate its own.The DEFI protocol and the MEME ecosystem are very concerned, and they can handle traffic.
In the new era, it is not important whether public chains embrace the MEME ecosystem. This is just a path to success, but you should understand that the principle behind the MEME ecosystem is the ultimate traffic business.
How to obtain your own core users, reach more external users and find a place to leave users is the key to success.
