Why do we invest in Fair Math?

Fair Math stands at the forefront of privacy computing, providing a set of tools for simplifying the development of FHE (FHE) application, and actively promoting the use of FHE applications.

The current blockchain has made significant progress in scalability and user experience, but privacy issues are still far away.Early projects such as ZCASH took the lead in using ZKPS for private payment between personal privacy, but ZKPS did not apply to more complicated calculations that need to be used to generate personal proof to generate personal proof.

In addition, with the increase of the complexity of the proof, we are forced to rely on more credible third parties to generate ZKPS.These trusted third parties must decrypt the encrypted data into bright text in order to calculate the data. This is a clear limit of privacy through ZKPS.

FHE is a cryptographic technology that allows direct encryption data to calculate, that is, calculated without decomposition.FHE guarantees the privacy of data during the calculation process, and enhances the security of cloud computing and processing sensitive information (such as personal identity information, passwords, keys, etc.).

In short, ZKPS is not designed for data processing like FHE, but is specifically used to confirm the authenticity of a statement without leaking the data itself. In the booming FHE field, there is still a lack of a common and comprehensive FHE component library to simplify the development process of FHE applications.Fair Math is solving this problem.Their methods need to solve two challenges: (1) Limited resources (2) meet the needs of various components.

To this end, they actively attracted a large number of community contributors to solve the FHE problem together. They also cooperated with OpenFhe to launch Fherma -a fully automatic challenge platform similar to Kaggle, which is designed for the field of FHE.The main idea here is to use community -centric and competition -based methods to solve challenging problems in FHE development. The end result is to provide a powerful and orderly FHE component library for application developers.

We appreciate all these tasks in the way of FAIR MATH open source and community -oriented.FAIR MATH and its continuous development of the community jointly constructed open source products using fair license agreements.

Team of experts in the field of privacy computing

Fair Math was co -founded by Gurgen Arakelov and Elvira Kharisova.Gurgen founded FHERMA and has a doctorate degree in mathematics/computer science. He has more than 10 years of experience in creating a computing solution for protecting privacy, and has worked for companies such as Samsung, Huawei, Intel and Whely.Elvira is a continuous entrepreneur who has more than 10 years of experience in the field of network security.

In a FHE event in DevConnect last year, we met with Gurgen and impressed his background and his existing contribution to the FHE field through FHERMA.After understanding his plan to Fair Math more in detail, we clearly feel that we have a lot of opportunities to support a talented, exquisite and eclectic team to create a future Web3 FHE ecosystem.Only a few teams have the background and skills required for privacy solutions comparable to Fair Math.

From InceptionFixed support

In Inception, we are committed to supporting the founders of innovation and cooperating with them to maximize the scale and influence of their projects. We believe that the Fair Math team can provide efficient privacy solutions for the Web3 industry, and we are very excited about this.As a leading investment agency, we will maintain close cooperation with the Fair Math team to help project growth in multiple dimensions such as products, markets, and financing.
