Researcher of Variant: Where is the bottleneck of DEFI super application?

Author: Alana Levin, Researcher of Variant Fund; Translation: Bit Chain Vision Xiaozou

DEFI super application users can easily use the chain protocol trading and make money. In the past few months, we have seen many such projects.

This seems to be easy and easy.Infrastructure is better than ever, embedded wallets make it easier for self -hosting, low trading costs, and so on.But I’m not sure if there is a real bottleneck in them.

In my opinion, the core question should be: What types of users are the breakthrough of expansion? Is it a new user, a moderate chain encrypted native user, or a Defi Degens?

It is important to understand what their respective resistance is.The more resistance in the market segments overlap, the more the winners have the opportunity to enter the neighboring market.

1New users of cryptocurrencies

DEFI applications may become mainstream, especially if the user experience they bring can be comparable to centralized services.Coinbase ranks first in the application store; if a DEFI application can copy this experience, we have no reason to think that it cannot achieve the same success.

UI (user experience) is part of the challenge, not all.Other key issues that need to be solved include:

-distribution

-Crocomplete user guidance

-Cer clear value proposition (such as income)

22. Moderate chain encrypted native users

Imagine: Coinbase users who occasionally interact with the chain. They may allocate pledge shares between coinbase and infrastructure on the chain. Some users may also use a loan agreement.

The key issues that need to be solved are:

-Safety

-E easy access/management (the greater the impact of price fluctuations on activities, the more important to access/management)

The pledge on the chain to a large extent is set-asn-leavet (because there is no volatility), and people may prefer to check the loan position more frequently.

3As well asDEFI Degens

Think about it: Those who circulate funds have dozens of wallets for income farming, and they may have established self -employed transactions.

The key issues that need to be solved are as follows:

-Pucking rate optimization

-The comprehensive investment portfolio management

-G custom/third -party integration

4,Summarize

There is no suitable user group at first, but it may be a huge opportunity.Defi Degens may provide very high per capita value of users.Winning Volkswagen may reduce ARPU (the average income per user), but it can be used with the number of users.

A team believes what obstacles they can better solve are the most important.Fortunately, the current infrastructure is good enough to allow the team to pursue these segments.

The key is to choose one of them, not trying to pack up at the beginning.
