Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are still expected to complete a photo in this week’s presidential election, with voters in the nation and key swing states that will decide on the elections, a series of polls released on Sunday showed.Split with a narrow dominance.

There are some encouraging signs for the Democratic nominee, with a final poll by ABC News and Ipsos showing Harris leading 49%-46% nationwide, while the New York Times/A survey released by Siena on Sunday showed Harris leads in five of the seven swing states.

A poll by the Des Moines Chronicle shows thatHarris leads 47%-44% in Iowa (Trump won the state in every previous election), which may be an outlier, but suggests that the vice president may succeed in trying to get his ownThe approval rating is rising.Progress has been made in relations with white voters in the Midwest.

Still, Harris’ advantage in all surveys is within the range of error, with a poll released by NBC News on Sunday showing the campaign deadlocked by 49%-49%.

Both candidates’ campaigns seemed to be on the verge of danger: Harris spoke at a church ceremony, visited two black-owned businesses, and spoke at Michigan State University, while Trump was in Pennsylvania.North Carolina and Georgia rally.

The whirlwind pace was obvious when Trump of North Carolina tried to acknowledge Republican Senate candidate David McCormick on stage, forgetting that the former hedge fund executive was looking for a job in Pennsylvania.

Each candidate emphasized their competing economic program, especially the polls showed at least one consensus—The economy remains the most concerned issue for voters. For the first time since becoming the nominee, Harris has not mentioned Trump in his entire rally speech—aides believe it is an intention to turn to a positive position at the end of the campaign.

Data released last week showed that the U.S. economy continued to grow, inflation cooled and jobs increased, but the growth rate was lower than expected due to two major hurricanes and strikes of aircraft mechanics to suppress employment data.

Here are some things that happened during the campaign:

“Don’t leave”

At a rally in Lititz, Pennsylvania, Trump spoke in a lot of speeches without evidence that the election system, poll companies and media corruption and plotted against his campaign — the former president is nowPrepare for the latest signs of competition.

The former president even said he should not leave the White House after losing to President Joe Biden in the 2020 election.

“Honestly, I shouldn’t have left,” Trump said.“We’re having a great time.”

Trump’s campaign noted that his departure was to refute questions about his role in the January election.

Trump has invested a lot of time to condemn early voting, although his advisers point to high turnout among early Republican voters, indicating strong campaign momentum. He said he believed the vote should only be held on Election Day, and the results were confirmed immediately that night.

“Everyone dares to talk about it, and then they accuse you of being a conspiracy theorist,” Trump said.

Trump himself said last month that he intends to vote early after radio host Brian Kilmead hinted that it could serve as a role model for his supporters. But in recent days, Trump’s aides have said he will vote on Election Day.

Trump went on to say he believes the U.S. voting system is worse than developing countries and complains that his senior campaign aides need to take the time to develop strategies that challenge the election process, rather than campaign spending or meeting places.

Harris campaign officials told reporters Sunday that Republicans are launching doomed challenges to thousands of votes in Pennsylvania, purely to postpone the vote count and support any subsequent allegations of fraud. The official said the ballots could be counted a few days after the election.

Bulletproof glass

Trump also caught the attention of the bulletproof glass he is now asked to use in outdoor activities in his speech.

Trump commented on the massive amount of ballistic material on his stage and said at one point: “In order to catch me, someone has to expose fake news, and I don’t mind that much.”

The former president’s campaign hastily issued a statement saying Trump’s remarks do not mean he will accept news media members as targets.

“The president’s statement on the placement of protective glass has nothing to do with the media being hurt or anything else,” Trump’s campaign communications director Steven Cheung said in a statement.“In fact, President Trump said the media is in danger because they are protecting him, so they themselves are in great danger and should also have glass shields.”

Vaccines, fluorides

The Republican candidate also spoke to NBC News on Sunday and repeatedly refused to rule out controversial health policies advocated by former presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., whoHe has now supported his campaign.

When asked about the statement Kennedy made on social media, the former president said they hadn’t talked about the idea, “but to me, it sounds good.”

“You know, it’s possible,” Trump said.

Trump also does not rule out banning certain vaccines.Despite evidence that global immunization efforts have saved tens of millions of lives, Kennedy has long been skeptical of the vaccine.

“I’ll make a decision, but he’s a very talented person and has a strong point of view,” Trump said.

Black voters

Harris witnessed Trump’s advantage among black voters, visiting the Greater Immanelli Church of God Service in Detroit and telling believers that black churches are essential to promoting the progress of the country.

“As a country, we face real challenges. We face real challenges, we bear real burdens, we feel real pain, we have to remember that faith combines with our actions and give us strength,” HarrySaid S.

Trump highlighted the impact of inflation and some of Harris’ progressive social policies in his search for a broader voter coalition. The survey shows that black men have higher approval ratings for him than any other Republican candidate in modern history.

Later in the afternoon, Harris visited a black-run business—Kuzzo Chicken and Waffle Shop, a restaurant in the Livernoir district of Detroit, owned by former Detroit Lions player Ron Bartel. She then stopped at the Elam barber shop in Pontiac, told the gathered customers she was “will go all out” and called the “Win with Black Women” organization in the evening.

Harris also wants to address some Arab-American voters in Michigan’s dissatisfaction with her support for Israel, she further defended her position as she spoke on the university campus on Sunday night.Earlier in the day, Harris told reporters she didn’t see anyone refusing to support her campaign.

She said:“As President of the United States, I will do my best to achieve this goal and a two-state solution to give Palestinians the right to self-determination and security and stability in the region.”“But again, the problems are diverse for any voter.”

A senior official from the Harris campaign said the team sent over 90,000 volunteers over the weekend to knock on more than 3 million doors in the battlefield states.

Among the volunteers involved in the work is a name that may attract Wall Street attention: Judy Dimon, a prominent political donor and wife of JPMorgan Chase & Co..CEO Jamie Dimon was one of the people who can vote for Harris in Michigan over the weekend.

Concert on the Eve of the Election

Harris plans to end her campaign with two rallies in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia and will rely heavily on her celebrity supporters to help increase attendance.

In Pittsburgh, Katy Perry will lead the roster, which also includes D-Nice and Andra Day.Lady Gaga made headlines during Harris’ final event in Philadelphia, which included performances from home bands like Roots and DJ Jazzy Jeff.Talk show stars Oprah Winfrey and Ricky Martin are expected to attend, too.

In North Carolina, the event will host a concert with singer-songwriter James Taylor and American Idol stars Van Tassia Barino and Remy Wolf.In Atlanta, 2 Chainz and Anthony Hamilton will be the protagonists of an event, including a speech by Usher.

Celebrity publicity began early, and on Sunday, Harris used the Philadelphia Eagles to face the crowd that had gathered before the Jacksonville Jaguars to host a “show” starring actor Robert De Niro and former Secretary of State John KerryTailgate for Turnout” event.

Kerry posed for photos in the green tent as volunteers passed the coasters and the “Harris handsome guy” hat, and he said Harris was inspired by the support of well-known Republicans and national security officials.

“I think it’s a great thing to do with more than 200 major Republican national security figures coming forward and saying, ‘This person is dangerous and shouldn’t be president’,” Kerry said. “When did this happen before,”? ”

Harris Votes

Harris revealed to reporters that she submitted absentee ballots to California but declined to say how she voted on a key voting measure.

Proposal No. 36, supported by the state’s Republican Party, will impose tougher penalties on those who have repeated crimes of drug or retail theft.Harris avoided participating in the measure because Trump has been using the state as a means of crackdown during his campaign, so there may be no political benefit to step in on the state’s crime.

“I won’t talk about the vote on it because to be honest, it’s Sunday before the election and I’m not going to build support around it in some way,” she said.
