Zhao Changpeng will be the first to criticize the spread of misinformation, so everyone must always remember the number 4 – starting from the end of May, the troubled Binance founder must serve in a US prison for violating the US money laundering law, and his sentence has been served. All are 4 months.

However, telling crypto Twitter users that they mistakenly celebrated the crypto entrepreneur’s freedom too early on Thursday. In fact,Zhao Changpeng will be released on September 29, according to the U.S. Prison Service.

The chaos may be partly due to Changpeng Zhao’s appearance this week had moved from a minimum security prison in Southern California to RRM Long Beach, a boarding program to prepare for the reintegration of prisoners who are about to be released from prison.

RRM, the office of residential reintegration management, is commonly known as the “Home in the Midway”.

Technically, some Twitter users claim that Zhao Changpeng has been released from prison, which is correct. But he is certainly still under the custody of the U.S. government and cannot act freely or do what he wants to do.

By the end of September, Zhao Changpeng should be able to regain his ability to move and may return to his wife and two children in Dubai. He has been in the U.S. since pleading guilty to violating U.S. anti-money laundering criminal rules last November to keep his company, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange.

After that, a federal judge in Seattle rejected Zhao Changpeng’s request to return to his family while awaiting sentencing — and the cryptocurrency billionaire was forced to spend several months of awkward vacation in the Pacific Northwest.

Even after reaching a settlement with the U.S. government, Zhao Changpeng is still the richest man in the cryptocurrency field, with the latest statistics showing that his net worth is as high as $47.7 billion.

However, as part of the settlement agreement, Zhao Changpeng was also banned from operating or managing Binance for three years. The entrepreneur said he intends to use this time to focus on other businesses such as education and passive investment.

If he is curious about other future options, Zhao Changpeng can now get employment placement assistance and life skills training at RRM Long Branch.
