Mark Yusko, founder of Morgan Creek Capital, shared his insights into the crypto market in an exclusive interview and made a comprehensive outlook for 2025.
Although the United States may implement its strategic Bitcoin reserves,Yusko still believes in the four-year cycle of Bitcoin.
He predicts that Bitcoin will experience a parabolic rise after reaching a fair value of about $100,000, which could push it to $120,000 to $150,000 by mid-2025.
“For me, fair value is near this six-digit level. I think we’ll break through this six-digit,” he said. However, he warned that the bear market could come by the end of the year, he warned that“From mid-2025, we will usher in another bear market.”
Regarding Ethereum, Yusko doubts its long-term dominance.Although the approval of spot Ethereum Exchange-traded funds in 2024 is a milestone,Yusko questioned Ethereum’s competitive advantage.
He proposed, “If Ethereum did not exist, but was invented today, would anyone use it?”As faster and cheaper alternatives like Solana and Avalanche become more popular,Yusko believes thatFaced with better technological solutions, Ethereum’s current market dominance may not be sustainable.
