Japan’s blockchain company Astar Network launched Astar ZXEVM on March 5th, becoming the first Layer 2 blockchain integrated to Polygon Agglayer.

ASTAR ZKEVM is a zero -knowledge Layer 2 blockchain, which aims to realize cross -chain transactions between ASTAR and Polygon blockchain. It integrates through Agglayer. Agglayer is an agreement that supports multi -chain smart contracts through aggregation zero -knowledge proof (ZK certification). In essenceSame.

According to Polygon Labs’s blog post, Agglayer “brought a unified encryption security and atomicity without sacrificing” without sacrificing initiative “, that is, the transaction remains unchanged throughout the cross -chain process.

In a press release, Sota Watanabe, the founder of Astar Network, said that this move is part of the national science and technology strategy of Japan:

“Our integration of Agglayer and the continuous investment in development have consolidated Astar ZKEVM as the position of Japanese Web3 innovation, entertainment and retail DAPP authority, making ASTAR at the forefront of Japanese companies, retail and government departments, and accelerated the growth of Web3.”

According to reports, Agglayer announced more than a month ago to reduce the obstacles of cross -chain users.

Polygon Labs compares the results with the end user experience that is more in line with the Internet.Agglayer basically completes the connection and conversion behind the scenes instead of manual connection, recovery and re -depositing assets to promote cross -chain movement.

Polygon co -founder Sandeep Nailwal said in a statement that the beginning of the Agglayer era is an important milestone:

“Today is an important first step to welcome the seamless multi -chain ecosystem. With ASTAR and many other ZK -supported chains are about to join, Polygon CDK and Agglayer are going to bring the Internet -scale functions into the encryption world.”
