Alliance 2024 Encrypted startup trend: What products do?

Each year, more than 3,000 encrypted startup applications apply to apply to join the Alliance accelerator.We have organized these data into an annual report to share unique trends and insights. The following is the main content of the report.

What blockchain will startups choose?

• Ethereum is still the main ecosystem for startup companies to choose to develop and build (about 2/3 of the application for startups).

• Solana (currently 18%) and Bitcoin (5%) have grown rapidly over the past year and a half.We expect to see more Solana startups in the next annual report.

• In the Ethereum ecology, 59%of startup companies are developed and constructed based on Optimistic Rollups (Optimism, Base, and Arbitrum).

• Polygon is gradually losing its ideological share, and Polygon ZKEVM lags behind Optimistic.

• Base has grown the fastest and increased to more than 28%in just one year.We expect this number to continue to grow.

What type of products are our applicants creating?

• More and more popular vertical products: infrastructure, DEFI, payment, AI X Crypto.

• The increasingly outdated vertical products: DAO and NFT.

Where is the founder?

• Europe (31%), the United States and Canada (29%), and Asia (27%) are the three regions of the most startups in startups.

• But due to regulatory problems and other reasons, the proportion of startups in the United States and Canada has been steadily declining, while Asia and Africa have continued to grow.

Which keywords are frequently mentioned?

• The popularizations of more and more popular in the past 12 months include: Fully Crypt by FHE (FHE), Chain Abstraction, Meme Finding, SocialFi, Prediction Market, Migrant Pure, RWA Real World Assets, Stable RWA Real World Assets, Stability of RWA, StableCoins, L1, L2 and L3.Thanks, I haven’t mentioned L4 yet.

• Today, 30%of the founders who applied to join our accelerator have experience in large technology companies (S & AMP; P500), and 12%of the founders have studied at top schools (universities in the top 100 QS).

What is the composition of the founding team?

• 39%of startups have only one founder, and in those companies with multiple founders, their equity is often almost allocated.

• 72%of encrypted startups are a long -range working model (no employees work on the spot).
