Former U.S. President Donald Trump said many memorable quotes when he was hosting a group of irreplaceable tokens (NFT) enthusiasts at his home in Florida on Wednesday.
Aside from swearing to keep cryptocurrency entrepreneurs in the United States, Trump believes his massive collection has made “NFT hot again” and even criticized a political rival’s meme coins — which inadvertently caused its price to soar.
On May 8, several of his most memorable lines appeared on X, including:
About cryptocurrency: “I’m good at it”
One of the first videos circulating on social media includesTrump vowed to provide a better regulatory environment for crypto businesses and entrepreneurs by eliminating “hostility” toward crypto — a problem he believes is brought about by the Biden administration and the Securities and Exchange Commission.
“Jensler is very opposed to it. The Democrats are very opposed to it, [but] I’m happy with it, I want to make sure it’s good, reliable and everything else, but I’m happy with it.”
When NFT enthusiast Malcolm asked him what steps he would do to eliminate this hostility and keep innovators in the United States, Trump replied:
“We’re going to stop it because I don’t want that, I don’t want that. If we’re going to accept it, we have to keep them here.”
About NFT: “We Make NFT Popular Again”
Trump also claimed thatHis Mugshot NFT and other collectibles “make NFTs hot again” at a time when the NFT market seemed to lose momentum, which drew a buzz from attendees.
Most attendees must buy a photo of Trump for $4,653 or more to be invited to the dinner event.

The Trump NFT card, the President of the United States and Melania Trump’s 1776 collection are other digital art collections related to the name Donald Trump.
About BODEN: “This is a lot of money for a token”
It’s no surprise that Trump doesn’t like the Jeo Boden (BODEN) meme coin associated with Joe Biden, which currently has a market capitalization of over $260 million.
“It’s too expensive and I don’t like this investment,” he said.
Comments about BODEN have soared by more than 10% shortly after they were shared on X.
butAnother Trump-based meme coin, Donald TREMP, has seen a more gratifying rally, soaring nearly 110% over the same time frame.
The billionaire also teased his political rival in another comment, mocking him for “not knowing” what cryptocurrency is.
“If you support cryptocurrency, you’d better vote for Trump.”
Trump had previously called Bitcoin (BTC) a scam in 2021, but has begun to embrace it in recent months and the broader industry.
However, he still has a strong tendency to maintain the dominance of the dollar under the traditional banking system.
Trump also recently said he would never allow the creation of central bank digital currencies under his supervision.
The photo NFT comes after Trump surrendered himself to Georgia authorities in August 2023, where he was charged with allegations related to attempting to overturn the 2020 election.
He must attend a criminal trial of paying adult movie star Stormy Daniels $130,000 for forging commercial documents, unlike the charges he faces in Georgia, Florida and the District of Columbia.
Trump has been in New York court on trial day since the jury selection began on April 15.However, the court will not hold a hearing on Wednesday, so he took the opportunity to fly to his Florida residence on May 8 to host the event.
