U.S. attorneys hope to sentence Sam Bankman-Fried, the founder of the bankrupt FTX exchange, to up to 50 years in prison.

Sam Bankman-Fried should be imprisoned for 40-50 years, according to a memorandum filed by the U.S. Department of Justice’s New York Southern District Division on March 15.
The infamous Crypto asset tycoon was found guilty of seven different counts of fraud and co-conspiracy last November after the FTX implosion at the end of 2022.He will face more than 100 years of prison for his crimes.
