Pyth governance system voting guide

In November 2023,#pythNetwork launched the main network without permission, laying a foundation for voting, Pyth governance and community -led decision -making.

Opinions that belong to you are essential for shaping the development trajectory of the Pyth protocol and ecosystem.

By pledged Pyth in the official pledge system, you can get the right to vote on the chain.Your voting right allows you to help guide the direction of Pyth Network.

The significance of participation in governance

Governance is the basic pillar of Pyth’s future development and ecosystem growth.Community -led governance systems can promote innovation and network security, and help coordinate the interests of different members of the community in the interests of the stakeholders of Pyth Network.

The Pyth governance system will be responsible for helping to decide:

· The size, duration, and amount of the prediction machine cost.

· Data publisher’s chain reward structure.

· Line price data and data publishers support their data.

Your participation and voting are critical to the decisions of these issues.

Participate in Pyth DAO governance on Realms

Community members can participate in Pyth Governance through the Pyth Dao Realms platform.

Here, you will find a list of proposals on the chain and indicate time and status.Realms interface allows users to easily search, screen and sort the chain proposal.

You can choose a proposal to view its details, real -time voting counts and current status, and you can also view and participate in the discussion.

The voting interface shows your voting status, current results and proposal voting requirements, such as types, duration, and the legal number required for the proposal.

Proposal voting procedure

The chain proposal will be voted within seven days, starting from a new EPOCH (Thursday 00:00 UTC) to the end of 23:59 UTC next Wednesday.

During this period, you can vote at any time.

Vote for you

Once the proposal enters the “voting” stage, the pledker of the Pyth token will be able to participate.First, log in to the Pyth Dao Realms page.

Connect your wallet with the button in the upper right corner

Connect your SPL (solana) wallet.Find and click the “Connection Wallet” button.The pop -up window will guide you to choose the SPL wallet holding the Pyth token.

Next, select a proposal from the proposal list to view its detailed information page.In this new page, you can vote for the proposal (yes) or reject (NO).

Voting results

At the end of the EPOCH, the proposal passed will be fully implemented and implemented.Any operation on the deployment plan will be automatically executed in this step.
