The Filecoin protocol GLIF will distribute 75 million points before the token release

GLIF is the Filecoin liquidity rental platform and the largest agreement in the Filecoin ecosystem. It started the points plan before the token release.

Glif said on Thursday,Points are the first step in the decision -making decentralization.Glif said the two sides in the GLIF system-Filecoin storage provider (SP) and liquidity provider (LP) -both are eligible to get points, and added that points will be rewarded to history and future SP and LP.

As a liquidity lease agreement,GLIF allows Filecoin (Fil) token holders to deposit the FIL into the liquidity pool as a return to obtain GLIF’s native liquidity lease to the token iFil.SP rental deposits in Fil and pay the rent to LP and agreement.LP earns the corresponding rent after depositing FIL.

According to Filfox data, Glif’s total value of more than 372 million US dollars is currently the largest agreement in the Filecoin ecosystem.

75 million GIF points

GLIF’s points are launched two days before its first anniversary.The agreement is 75 million points for history (50 million) and future (25 million) SP and LP, and each party obtains 50%of the total points.

The starting date of historical points is March 30, 2023, that is, when the agreement is started.The starting date of the future points is March 28, and it lasts until September 26. The frequency of points issuance is once every two weeks.

GLIF token

A source who knows the matter directly pointed out,GLIF plans to convert its points at a ratio of 1: 1 to the upcoming native currency.Sources said that tokens are expected to be launched at some time this summer.Recently reported,GLIF plans to launch a “governance tokens”, which is similar to other “voting custody” such as VECRV and other “voting custody” govern token models.

According to sources,GLIF also plans to launch a task plan, which is a gamified experience that will provide users with new methods to earn more points.

Points are becoming more and more popular in encryption projects to reward loyal users.According to reports, so far, cryptocurrency projects have issued more than 40 billion reward points.
